UMBC’s crowdfunding platform offers members of the campus community the opportunity to raise funds for special projects and initiatives from their friends, families, and social networks.
A broad range of cause-based projects will rotate on the site for potential donors to explore and support. One hundred percent of all gifts directly benefit the program, project, or cause supported. Some organizations that have had success using the site are the Alternative Spring Break programs, the Down and Dirty Dawg Band, the LaMont Toliver Alumni Memorial Scholarship, and UMBC Men’s Lacrosse.
Applications are now being accepted for future fundraising initiatives. Projects must support UMBC’s mission and be approved by the university.
